Well, I cannot. Porting all my stuff over to your new rib tree
is too much work. Also, the timing is off for me, we already completed
all our testing and will not do any major work on OSPF until it is needed

It doesn't make sense to leave the main tree broken for so long
either. I know my patch conflicts with the your new rib work, I guess
that is the main reason you haven't applied it.
