Hi everybody,
I had a a strange behaviour when assigning ip address to lo0.
here is the scenario:
# vtysh
Bgp# conf t
Bgp# interface lo0
Bgp(config-if)# ip address

when i hit "show interface" i see the ip.
however when i do "ifconfig lo0" on the console i don't see anything.
I've tried to clear all ip addresses : "no ip address" "no ip
address", ad then readd them, when i do ifconfig i only see
127.0.01/8 ip address, i don't see the newly made ip.

System is FreeBSD:
# uname -a
FreeBSD Bgp 8.1-RELEASE-p4 FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE-p4 #2: Tue Sep 6 11:09:22
UTC 2011 root at Bgp:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/SAMI amd64

if i do at console manually ifconfig lo0 alias, everything is

Any Suggests?

Thanks in advance,
