While they are not strictly mutually exclusive, I don't think it makes
much sense to mix them. Not sure how to CLI works in other areas, or
with Cisco in this case.

In otherwords, I don't have strong opinion on the matter. However, I
think the choice should be based on what makes more sense on CLI level
- not just which is the easier thing to code.
