Fixed the problem by adding a 10.1.10.x ip to the bond.
It's working fine.

Maybe I should patch the quagga code to send multicasts with the originating
ip from the network..
Is there such a patch or I should scramble the code :) ?

Best Regards,

try starting tcpdump with option -p;
would like to see if you receive the multicasts also without promiscuous
mode.

rdisc does not seem to receive/process the multicasts.

can you try to set the ip of bond0 interface to the 10.1.10.x ip and post
the output og rdisc?

can you try rdisc at a non-bonded interface?

studying rdisc-code, it seems rdisc does not receive the packet.
can I have root access to this box todo some more debugging?
